When Grand Designs Australia came knocking, it was for our own home. Pigeon Passive House in Yarraville featured in Season 12, Episode 10, following our family's build on the old site of the Yarraville Racing Pigeon Homing Club, from a tired timber shed to a certified Passive House Plus home.
Being on Grand Designs is a big deal for any builder. For us, it was the chance to show the whole country that a Passive House works beautifully in Melbourne, with an airtightness result of 0.26 ACH50 that makes it the best performing home we've ever built.
